Red Cross turns over houses in Leyte


Isabel, Leyte: Philippine Red Cross Chief Executive Officer Richard Gordon led the turn over of houses that Red Cross built for this province at the Galicano N. Ruiz Freedom Center in Isabel on Friday. A total of 26, 500 houses for Isabel, Merida and Ormoc City were built by the Red Cross and awarded them for the victims of supertyphoon Yolanda. Gordon said that there are also 2, 600 houses built in the hinterlands of Isabel. These houses, he added, are complete with comfort rooms.
