TUGUEGARAO CITY, Cagayan: Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) Region 2 Director Laurefel Gabales said the street value of shabu in Cagayan Valley has increased from P4,000 to P5,000 per gram as a result of the intensified campaign against the illegal substance.

“[Because] of the government's massive anti-illegal drug drive, dealers could hardly penetrate the local market while thousands of their runners or distributors have already surrendered to authorities and are being closely monitored,” according to Gabales.
