Resorts World Manila’s (RWM) Cantonese fine dining restaurant Passion pampers palates anew with flavors created specially by Chinese Executive Chef David Chu Wai Fung. Adding fresh dishes to its exquisite menu, Passion indulges gourmands with its “Chef’s Choice” offering this April.

Inviting guests to experience the rich and exquisite tastes of the orient, Chef David prepares four thrilling new dishes that exhibit his culinary skills. Passion’s “Chef’s Choice” dishes include the Taro Shrimp with Kiwi Mayonnaise Sauce, the Ancient-Style Braised Cod Fish, the Barbeque Pork Spareribs with Honey Sauce, and the Seafood Dumpling in Japanese Pumpkin Soup.

“He is young, he is gifted, he has the spirit and he is very innovative. I think Chef David is revolutionizing, in a certain way, Chinese cuisine,” says RWM’s Senior Director for Food and Beverage Chef Hubertus Cramer.

Besides the “Chef’s Choice” offering, Passion also serves a spread of eastern cuisine classics with its daily lunch buffet. To satisfy his diners’ evolving taste, Chef David injects new cuisines to his all-you-can-eat Cantonese feast. Adding new life to featured buffet favorites are dishes such as Fresh Shrimp Cucumber Dumplings, Steamed Seafood Vermicelli Roll, Salt and Pepper Live Shrimps, Barbequed Pork in Honey Sauce, and Roasted Crispy Duck with Plum Sauce.


Enjoy a lineup of mouthwatering dim sum, special congee, noodles, rice and delightful desserts at Passion’s Cantonese lunch buffet. Children 5 years and below are absolutely free of charge. The buffet is available daily from 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., not including holidays.
