Rocel Bondoc, the 18-year-old student who was hit by a stray bullet when Vhon Tanto went into a rampage four months ago, is on her way to full recovery.
Bondoc can now walk and run, according to her aunt Rowena Dunca.
After the July 25 road-rage shooting in Quiapo, the 18-year-old victim can now walk and run and on her way to full recovery.
Rocel Bondoc, a Physical Therapy major at the city-run Universidad de Manila, was hit when Tanto killed cyclist Mark Vincent Garalde during a road rage shooting on July 25.
Bondoc spent weeks at the Intensive Care Unit at Mary Chiles Hospital.
“She is now strong. She can walk and run for some meters,” Dunca said in an interview. “We are grateful for all the help and support of the mayor.”
Manila Mayor Joseph Estrada helped shoulder Bondoc’s hospital bill.
But Dunca said her niece has not forgiven Tanto.
“We want justice be served and he should pay for his crime,” she told reporters.
