• Roads in Quezon City to undergo reblocking, repair this weekend

Traffic is expected to slow down in some areas in Quezon City this weekend as the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) schedules road repairs and re-blocking there.

In an advisory, the MMDA on Friday said the road works will be done from 10 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday.

The repair will be conducted by the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) in the following areas: along C-5 Road, from J. Vargas to CJ Caparas Street, outermost lane, southbound lane; along Araneta Avenue from Del Monte Avenue to Maria Clara Street, 2nd lane, southbound lane.

    E. Rodriguez Jr. Avenue / C-5 between Mercury and Eastwood Avenue, 3rd lane, southbound lane; along Fairview Avenue from Doña Carmen to Winston Street, 3rd lane, northbound lane; and along Congressional Avenue from Mindanao Avenue to April Street, 1st lane, westbound.

The MMDA advised motorists to take other routes until the reblocking is completed.
