UNITED Kingdom’s ultra-luxury car manufacturer has formally entered the Philippines through a recent dealer appointment ceremony. Named by Rolls-Royce Motor Cars as its official importer in the country was British Bespoke Automobiles, headed by Willy Tee Ten.
“Many say that Rolls-Royces are no longer cars—they are piece of art. They are the definition of ultra luxury, where the only limit is imagination,” Tee Ten said.
For his part, Rolls-Royce Motor Cars Asia Pacific Regional Director Paul Harris said that it is high time for the company to bring the brand to the Philippines.
“As one of the fastest growing Asian economies this year, we are confident that the brand will do well in this country. I am looking forward to moving ahead with British Bespoke Automobiles in this new, exciting market,” Harris said.
Rolls-Royce in Manila will be selling three models—the Phantom, Ghost and Wraith.
Tee Ten said that potential customers have already started lining up. “There are quite a number of people who have expressed willingness to buy a Rolls-Royce,” he said.
The base model of the Ghost, without much “bespoking,” will cost P25.9 million. The Wraith will be introduced in the last quarter of the year.
A showroom for the British brand will be constructed at Bonifacio Global City starting next month, and is meant to be finished by early next year.
