Mikee Romero, Philippine Basketball Association’s outgoing chairman and GlobalPort Batang Pier’s big boss, assured local hoops fans that the Season 43 of the PBA will push through as scheduled on December 17. Romero also promised to end the ongoing impasse in the PBA board.
“Rest assured comes December 17, the PBA will open its 43rd season. Although there is divisiveness among the board of governors, by next week we will do everything to end the impasse,” Romero said during the PBA Press Corps Awards Night on Thursday at the Gloria Maris Restaurant in Quezon City.

The Finals MVP of the last three conferences were Chris Ross and Alex Cabagnot of San Miguel Beer and Tenorio.
