In commemoration of the 30th Ninoy Aquino Day on Wednesday, Waterfront Manila Pavilion Hotel & Casino unveiled its newly renovated suite named after the former Sen. Benigno “Ninoy” Aquino Jr. to give honor and recognition to all his significant contributions in national history.

The Aquino Suite is a private luxury perched above the glittering city streets of Manila. Situated on the 20th floor, it magnifies a presence of classic elegance with a floor size of 150 square meters. Its marble foyer welcomes guest with aesthetic artifacts, a well thought out lighting design, and sleek furniture for the luxurious accoutrements.

“The life and death of Ninoy Aquino made a huge impact inside and outside of the country. The Aquino Suite is especially named after Sen. Benigno Aquino for he has been a very important guest of the hotel,” said General Manager Christopher Park. “This hotel has stood tall for 45 years now and based from the stories of the people who have been here way longer than me, this specific room has been a witness to a lot of momentous events before Ninoy got imprisoned, was exiled, died and became a hero as the inspiration for the People Power EDSA Revolution in 1986. We are glad of that fact that he was once our beloved guests.”

The Master Bedroom is especially well furnished making a subtle entitlement for a royal treatment. The elegantly appointed room is connected to a dressing room and marble bathroom with a Jacuzzi bath and walk-in shower blending modernism and the elegance of the past.

The study area functions as an ideal office space when it is time for business. It has a separate workstation, a stylish sofa set and a mini library as an ode to the voracious reader Sen. Aquino. His birthday, November 27, has actually been declared as “Araw ng Pagbasa” to recognize the influence of books in his life.

In the living room, the signature color of the martyred hero comes alive with yellow modish armchairs, while a P500 bill painting becomes a scene-stealer. The floor area is expansive with a 40” Led TV for personal entertainment.

From the living room, the suite unfolds into the dining room. The chandelier light hanging above the dining table also leaves a statement making the view within more astonishing.

Located in a private corner to provide maximum privacy, guests of the Aquino Suite will enjoy a dedicated butler service for all their needs and pleasure.

The Manila Pavilion Hotel is located at United Nations Avenue corner Maria Orosa Street in Manila. Log on to www.waterfronthotels.com.ph or call 526-1212 for more information.
