SILAY CITY, Negros Occidental: Liberal Party (LP) standard-bearer Manuel “Mar” Roxas 2nd is not freeloading on anybody to finance his campaign.
Roxas, in a combative stance, was responding to insinuations made by a rival in the presidential race in the 2016 elections—Davao City Mayor Rodrigo Dutert—that a certain Eric Gutierrez, owner of SR Metals Inc. (SRMI) based in Tubay, Agusan del Sur, is lending Roxas private planes allegedly in exchange for protecting the miner’s interest.
