The game between Gilas Pilipinas and the Australian Boomers was halted following a brawl in the third quarter of the International Basketball Federation (FIBA) Asian Qualifiers on Monday at the Philippine Arena in Bocaue, Bulacan.
With the Australians leading 79-48 with 4:01 left in the third canto, Roger Pogoy elbowed Christopher James Goulding while driving to the basket. Then, Australian Daniel Kickert shove Pogoy to the floor, prompting Andray Blatche and most of the Gilas palyers to retaliate, resulting in a rumble.
