IF I were to make it into a movie, the fund-raising operation was one veritable gold hunt. And like all golden treasure adventures, the undertaking was replete with suspense, spine-tingling moments as in a spy thriller, near-brushes with the police, prospects of fatal encounters with the military, and in all these, the hero, which was I, prevailed over dire challenges to his ingenuity in order to bring the needed results, which however took so long in coming.
