“I am a caring dad; I lead by example,” TV host Ryan Agoncillo said in an interview for his newest endorsement for Dove Men+Care.
Ryan of course is married to Judy Ann Santos with whom he has two children, Yohan and Lucho with the third one on the way. A modern dad, he takes an active part in raising their children, taking them to school and bonding with them over breakfast before going to work.
“So yes, you can say I have a very active lifestyle,” laughed the sought after host, who appears daily on the noontime show Eat Bulaga, besides other commitments for GMA Network.
Besides being a hands-on dad, he also makes time for sports, which he is also introducing to Yohan and Lucho.
“I believe sports can teach them to be considerate to others and help them to develop discipline,” he explained.
This multi-faceted and busy life of Ryan’s landed him a slot in roster of the newly formed #DoveMenPlus council, comprised of men who care for their family and themselves.
On August 12, Ryan was introduced as a member of the council, along with Doug Kramer, PBA player and a devoted family man to wife Chesca and children Kendra, Scarlett and Gavin; JC Intal, a PBA player and husband to TV host Bianca Gonzalez and soon to be father; Nico Bolzico, a businessman and a cheesy husband-to-be; Mark Agas, a model and a caring doctor; Luke Landrigan, a surfer school owner and a selfless father; Chappy Callanta, strength and conditioning specialist and a loving father; and James Deakin, motoring journalist and a social servant.
Always espousing real beauty through real care, Dove has long focused on inspiring women to step out of the shadow of beauty stereotypes and believe that they can realize their real beauty. This year, the brand has expanded its mission to include men. Their battle cry is that men’s real strength comes with being caring, so that they proudly take on the roles of babysitting dads, bag-carrying boyfriends and dog-hugging men.
