PLUS: Comeback actress ressurects evil ways
Gone are the days we knew her as Ryza Mae “Cha Cha” on Eat Bulaga, because believe it or not, TV’s “Aling Maliit” is now an 11-year-old pre-teen.
When In The Know caught up with the ever witty Ryzza Mae Dizon, she opened up about possibly leaving her child star status soon.
“Masaya naman po kasi hindi katulad ng dati na baby ka pa pero nakakalungkot din po kasi hindi ka na maglalaro pag masyado ka nang matanda… Pero ako po naglalaro pa po ako,” the young comedienne intimated.
Ryzza Mae is grateful to APT Entertainment that years after she rose to fame in 2012, they still prioritize her career and projects. In fact, the quick not-so-little miss noticed she has been given more tasks in acting lately, with two morning soaps Calle Siete and Princess in the Palace. These projects served as the sign that her management team acknowledges the fact that she’s growing up and needs roles that fit her age.
Saying she felt “more mature” in those roles, she quickly added, “Pero hindi po para magka-love team!”
According to Ryzza Mae, she just wants to have similar projects in the near future.
She giggled though when In The Know pointed out her “kikay” Instagram posts where she shares her OOTDs or outfits-of-the-day, fashion finds, and makeup trials.
Apparently, because of the countless freebies she gets through online sellers, Ryzza Mae developed a fondness for makeup, and is even entertaining the possibility of taking classes for makeup application!
For now she likens doing her face to painting—another interest of the pre-teener.
“Hindi ko pa po siya [her latest painting]natatapos pero letter R siya para sa room ko.”
With that, one’s thing’s for sure: No matter how quickly Ryzza Mae grows up, she’ll never lose her gift for comedy.
Charming and optimistic as ever, TV5’s sole prince Mark Neumann is enjoying his unusual free time while patiently waiting for what his next project will be on the network.
Right now Mark is seen with love team mate Shaira Mae dela Cruz on Sundays, introducing the Filipino-dubbed featured on Kapatid Network’s Sine Squad.
The British-Filipino told In the Know that his home studio is in the process of working out new original shows, which he is sure to be a part soon.
“I’m getting ready to be back in shape because I’ve been tamad the last few months,” said the good looking lad.
Satisfied where he is career-wise, Mark also said he is happy for the new career path of former TV5 colleagues Vin Abrenica, who is now with ABS-CBN, and Sophie Albert, who recently signed a contract with Regal Entertainment.
Asked if he somehow feels left behind, he replied, “Hindi naman, where opportunity knocks, you go.”
GUESS WHO? This redeemed star has been notorious because of her maldita ways. She already mellowed a few years back when she lost several projects because of her attitude; but now that she has her much desired comeback, word from inside her network is that her “evil ways” are back and here to stay, as long as she’s in the limelight.
Recently, Redeemed Star expected a red carpet welcome at one of her guestings. But since her network has multiple shows going on, dressing rooms are hardly ever empty. Of course, the situation was unacceptable for Redeemed Star who said that a dressing room should be cleared out and on standby for her at all times—or else, she will not show up for taping!
Even her handler is having a hard time with her behavior.
Remember the not-so-distant past? It’s time to change girl!
Until next week! Ta-ta!
