S. Korea seeks better ties with Asean


JAKARTA: The Secretary-General of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations-Korea Center (AKC) Chung Hae-Moon recently met with Asean Secretary-General Le Luong Minh to exchange views on various topics pertaining to cooperation between the bloc and South Korea. Moon introduced AKC’s Work Program for 2015 which includes various activities to promote cooperation between the bloc and South Korea with a focus on trade, tourism, connectivity and cultural exchange. The Work Program is also aimed to implement the outcomes of the Asean-Korea Commemorative Summit held in December 2014 in Busan.
