BAGUIO CITY: Chito Laureta shot a day best one over 70 for 35 points and towed defending champion San Miguel–Northern Cement to the lead in in the Seniors Fil–Championship flight of the 67th Fil-Am Golf Invitational Tournament presented by San Miguel at the Camp John Hay golf course on Monday.
Laureta led a strong San Miguel offense as games take a break for the premiere flight prior to the expected tight battle at the shorter Baguio Country Club golf course Wednesday finishing with 135 for a two day aggregate of 265, now five ahead overnight leader Manila Southwoods.
