Young fashion designer Sari Lazaro confidently mounted 2016’s first major runway show with an equally assertive collection that redefined the essence of royalty.
Held at the Green Sun Hotel on January 14, the event showed Lazaro’s individuality as she intertwined ethereal imagery with her brand of glamour.
Lazaro has always been inclined to fashion with a background in design courses from Central Saint Martin and London College of Fashion, and an honorary degree from Istituto Marangoni in London, England.
With an up and coming label that clothes women in elegance and opulence, she successfully presented her evolving finesse to an exclusive audience in Metro Manila.
The collection expounded on the embodiment of eminence as it took inspiration from natural forest themes. Delicate and airy, each piece transforms into strong and contemporary with an application of traditional details upon modern ensembles. Lazaro makes a statement on the state of being royal, and her clothing showcased the epitome of stature, a reflection of oneself.
Through a combination of precious silks, chiffons and lace, the collection channeled Lazaro’s aesthetic and sensibilities. A modernization of an old world romance: ethereal, feminine and luxurious, all to be an intoxicating show of otherworldly grandeur.
In line with the promotion of local talent, ingenuity and craftsmanship in Philippine fashion, major industry player, Art Personas along with JCA Productions under the direction of Jackie Aquino presented the work of Sari Lazaro in an exclusive, high-end fashion affair.
