‘Sari-sari’ store owner bags P40-M lotto pot


A 50-year-old sari-sari (variety) store owner from Cavite province has bagged the P40-million lotto jackpot prize.

Conrado Zabella, Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) assistant general manager for gaming sector, said the winner only bet P60 to bag the jackpot prize in the Grand Lotto 6/55 draw.

He added that the winner got the winning combination 08-14-27-34-38-45 through lucky pick.

The winner, Zabella said, plans to buy a house and lot, invest in business and save for his children’s future.

He claimed his prize check at the charity agency in Mandaluyong City (Metro Manila) on Wednesday.
