THE Supreme Court (SC) has junked a petition of Sen. Juan Ponce Enrile seeking to stop his preventive suspension as senator of the Republic.

It ruled to dismiss his petition for being moot and academic because the Sandiganbayan has already implemented the suspension order against him.
