THE Supreme Court (SC) has paved the way for the designation of an additional court to handle drugs cases in Cagayan de Oro City.
In an en banc resolution promulgated by Clerk of Court Felipa Anama dated October 6, 2015 but was released to the media only recently, the tribunal has approved to assign one more branch court to try and dispense all drug related cases as part. This is in addition to the existing drug court where all cases on prohibited drugs are assigned.
