London Olympics veteran Jasmine Alkhaldi delivered the country’s fourth gold medal in the 2013 Southeast Asian Games in Naypyitaw, Myanmar.
The 20-year-old Alkhaldi timed 56.65 seconds in winning the women’s 100-meter freestyle swimming competitions.
She defeated Singaporeans Ting Wen Quah (56.74) and Amanda Xiang Qi Lim (57.21).
Filipino-American Matt Louis Navatta finished fourth overall in the men’s 400m individual medley (4:30.75). Zheng Wen Quah of Singapore won the gold in 4:23.45.
The Philippines is in sixth place in the medal board with four golds, five silvers and six bronzes.
Daniel Parantac, Jessie Aligaga and Dembert Arcita won golds in their events in wushu.
