SAN FERNANDO CITY, La Union: The La Union Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction Management Council (PDRRMC) continues to look for the missing 17-year-old who was swept by a strong water current at the height of Typhoon Lando in the coast of Barangay San Francisco, on Monday afternoon here. Senior Supt. Julius C. Suriben identified the missing resident as Kimberly Manansala, 17, of Barangay Madayegdeg. She was swimming with a friend, Luis Esmael Dacanay, her brother James Clint, and her cousin, Aila Manansala, all of whom were rescued. James added that they know the prohibition against swimming because of the typhoon. He said they just waded near the shore and they did not expect the incident would happen.
