KUALA LUMPUR: Malaysian police said that security in the capital is under control despite reports of alleged terrorist threats at some specific locations, according to a Friday report of Bernama, Malaysia's state news agency.
City Police Chief Tajuddin Md Isa made the remarks when commenting on a travel advisory issued by the U.S. Embassy and the Australian government's Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade, advising their citizens to avoid Kuala Lumpur's Alor Street and the immediate surrounding areas on Thursday.
