  1. This may be news to the protesters but the trial is underway in a Philippines court. The reason it is not over yet is it is a Philippine court and trials drag out for years.

    People sit in the Philippines jails for 10 years without trial.

    Maybe these people hanging out in front of a foreign embassy should go protest the incompetent Philippines justice system if they want results. It’s not the US embassy delaying the justice due in this case.
