Commercial and thrift banks reported that all automated teller machines (ATM) and selected branches will remain operational during the declared non-working holidays.
In an advisory, Bank of the Philippine Islands (BPI) said some 150 branches of the combined BPI-BPI Family Savings Bank network will be open to serve the public on December 24 (half day), December 30 (whole day), and January 3, 2015 (whole day).
Clients may also transact using the banks’ ATM, internet, mobile and phone banking channels (89-100) during the holidays, the bank added.
Philippine Bank of Communication (PBCom) said all its Branches will extend banking hours on December 23 and 29, 2014. Branches will be open from 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday, December 23, 2014 and Monday, December 29.
“PBCOM branches will be closed during the following declared holidays: December 24, 25, 26, 30 and 31 and January 1 and 2, 2015,” it added.
Philippine Saving Bank’s (PSBank) said its ATM network, totaling 588 nationwide, will remain accessible and operational in all branches and offsite locations during the Christmas, New Year and national holidays on December 24 to 26, and December 30 to January 1, 2015, respectively.
China Bank said its branches will be open on the declared non-working holidays: December 24, 26, 30, 31, and January 2.
The bank added that a total of 93 China Bank branches will be open this holiday season, most of which on a half-day banking schedule.
