SELF-RATED poverty in the country slid further in the second quarter of the year and dropped to its lowest level since December 2011, according to the latest Social Weather Stations (SWS) survey.

The poll, conducted from June 24 to 27 among 1,200 adults, showed that 45 percent of respondents or about 10.5 million families considered themselves “poor.”
