• Senior citizen bags P43.3M lotto pot


    A senior citizen from Zamboanga del Norte claimed the P43.3 million Mega Lotto 6/45 jackpot drawn by the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) on March 14, 2016.

    PCSO General Manager Jose Ferdinand Rojas 2nd handed the prize to the 67-year-old male bettor on March 21.

    The lucky bettor is married and has three children and has been playing lotto since 1995.
    He got his winning numbers — 21-18-03-05-34-10– from lucky pick, a series of numbers generated by the computer.

    According to him, a portion of his winnings will be donated to their community chapel, while some other portions will go to his children.

    Meanwhile, a 38-year-old accountant from Manila is now P10 million richer after hitting the lotto 6/42 winning combination of 20-06-27-38-22-04.

    His winning combination corresponds to dates of births, wedding anniversary and his age.
    He plans to use the money to put up a business and save for the future of his children.
