At least two oil companies on Monday announced an across-the-board price rollback, the second for the month of April.
Pilipinas Shell and Petron Philippines said they would cut the per-liter price of diesel by 35 centavos, kerosene by 30 centavos and gasoline by 15 centavos.
The price adjustments will be effective shortly after midnight Tuesday (April 8).
Other oil firms are expected to implement similar price cuts.
Last month, the price of diesel and kerosene was increased by 50 centavos per liter and gasoline by 10 centavos.
