At least three oil companies on Tuesday raised their pump prices, the first fuel price hike for June.
Pilipinas Shell, Petron and Seaoil raised their gasoline price by 70 centavos per liter and diesel and kerosene by 40 centavos per liter
The adjustments–which “reflects the price movement in the international oil market” took effect 6 a.m. Tuesday.
It is the fourth fuel price hike since May.
Last May 27, the per-liter price of gasoline went up by 30 centavos, diesel by 40 centavos and kerosene by 45 centavos.
Other oil players have yet to announce their own price increases as of noon Tuesday.
