TOKYO: A Singapore-bound Dreamliner flight had to be aborted mid-air after developing a glitch with its anti-icing system, its Japanese operator said Tuesday, the latest setback for Boeing's flagship plane.

The 787, operated by Japan Airlines was turned around shortly after leaving Tokyo's Haneda airport at 1:30 am (1630 GMT), a spokesman said.
