    Sous Chef Tan Kheng Boon of Traders Hotel Singapore

    Makati Shangri-La, Manila welcomes guest chefs from Traders Hotel, Singapore, for a Singaporean Food Festival at Circles Event Café from August 1 to 10.

    Sous Chef Tan Kheng Boon and assistant Sous Chef Ricky Young Soon Khiong will prepare traditional dishes for guests to experience a taste of authentic Singapore cuisine.

    Among the Singaporean dishes to be featured are as Mee Goreng (spicy fried noodles), Rojak (a mix of potatoes, eggs, bean curd and prawns served with a sweet and spicy chili sauce), Hokkien Mee, (seafood noodles with bean sprouts), Laksa, (spicy curry noodle soup) and the infamous Singapore Chicken Rice.

    An exclusive cooking demo will also be offered on August 7.
