    Overwhelmed at her launch as the newest Pond’s Girl, Jasmine Curtis-Smith was in tears at the big reveal on at Sofitel Philippine Plaza on March 3.

    “I am so nervous. Before walking [here], I was shaking,” she said after the announcement was made.

    Pond’s senior brand manager Cesca Silvestre came to Jasmine’s rescue, taking the microphone to explain why the young actress truly embodies a Pond’s Girl.

    “She is driven, ambitious, and lives beautiful, which all make up Pond’s philosophy. Despite her hectic schedule, Jasmine makes sure that she takes care of herself.”

    Jasmine has been tasked to promote Pond’s summer beauty product, the White Beauty SPF 15 Cream with Korean Ginseng, Saffrona and SPF15 PA++, which promises “a rosy white glow and protection from UVA and UVB rays.”

    Asked what she likes best about the product, the new Pond’s Girl replied, “It’s powder finish.” According to Jasmine the cream is spreads smoothly on the skin, leaving a matte finish unlike common SPF creams that a thick and greasy feel.
