THE Skyway O&M Corp. (SOMCO), hosted the fifth Motorcycle (MC) Riding Course at the SOMCO Toll Operations Complex in Parañaque City.
Conducted by the National Police Commission, the 45-day course, consisting of lectures and practical instructions, aims to help members of traffic enforcement groups and police security forces become better riders by teaching them, among others, advanced techniques and tips in mastering and maintaining their motorcycles and the correct reactions to any circumstance and/or situation while aboard the MC.
Traffic and security personnel numbering 127 from the Armed Forces of the Philippines, Metro Manila Development Authority, Bureau of Jail Management and Penology, Phil. National Police, the local police forces of Taguig, Pasay, Manila and Quezon City, Manila Toll Expressway Systems, Inc. (MATES) and SOMCO attended the riding course.
MATES operates the 36-kilometer South Luzon Expressway from Alabang to Calamba while SOMCO operates the 29.8-km Skyway System from Buendia to Alabang
