SLSU STUDENTS UNDERGO LIFE-SAVING TRAINING

LUCBAN, Quezon: College junior nursing students of the Southern Luzon State University attended a four-day Emergency First-Aid and Basic Life Support training spearheaded by Quezon Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (PDRRMO). The training, which featured different bandaging technique, patient/casualty handling, rescue breathing and cardio pulmonary resuscitation, is designed to equip students with the proper life-saving skills in the event of any calamity or disaster in their respective community. The participants thanked the provincial government and the PDRRMO, saying the training would be helpful when they their internship at Saint Luke’s Medical Center.
