SMART Communications, the wireless arm of leading telecommunications player PLDT Inc., said it has sustained the uptrend in smartphone adoption among its subscribers, with smartphone penetration rate within the Smart network rising 25 percent year-on-year in the first nine months of 2016.
The company attributed the robust increase in smartphone adoption to rising consumer incomes and Smart’s attractive device and data bundled offers.
