Socio-economic profiling of Baguio households continues

BAGUIO CITY: The socio-economic profiling of all households here, being conducted by the city government through the City Social Welfare and Development (CSWD) Office, in partnership with the Department of Social and Welfare and Development-Cordillera Regional Office, is expected to be finished before the end of December. CSWD Officer Betty Fangasan told reporters that the CSWD Office is currently conducting a saturation survey that aims to cover all the households here. She said the survey is intended to come up with a database on the socio-economic profile of all households in the city which can be readily shared with program managers of the government and private entities as well as policy makers. The data could be used in identifying and bringing in the specific or appropriate programs, policies, and services to the right beneficiaries, according to Fangasan.
