• Soirée Beaujolais 2017 to be held at the Sofitel Philippine Plaza

    The French Chamber of Commerce or CCI France Philippines recently signed the contract with Sofitel Philippine Plaza for Soirée Beaujolais 2017 in the Philippines which is slated on November 24 at the Harbor Garden Tent. Sofitel Philippine Plaza being the hotel of choice of prominent events was chosen as the ideal venue for the momentous celebration of the 70th year of the France-Philippines relations and the 70th year of the Cannes Film Festival.

    This year will see a more spectacular celebration of as guests will be transported to La Criosette glamorously welcomed in a red carpet to celebrate the world renowned Cannes Film Festival. The event is primarily inspired by the iconic red carpet steps of the timeless film festival, where guests will arrive in their 1950s French glamour outfits swarmed by the papparazi and red carpet reporters as they enter the venue.

    The famous La Croissette, the most prominent boulevard in Cannes will be recreated at the Harbor Garden Deck of the Sofitel Philippine Plaza. La Croissette stretches along the Mediterranean Sea and is known as the location of the Palais des Festivals et des Congrés where the Cannes Film Festival is held annually.

    Soirée Beaujolais is the annual gala of CCI France Philippines. It welcomes the arrival of the young wine, Beaujolais Nouveau. This harvest is celebrated not only in France, but amongst French communities all over the world. In November of every year, 65 million bottles of Beaujolais Nouveau is exported and shared worldwide to celebrate this great French tradition. On its 27th year, CCI France Philippines is again celebrating Soirée Beaujolais with overflowing French wine for its guests.
