Roxaco Land Corp.’s Tagaytay-based resorts and residences development has been included in the Small Luxury Hotels of the World (SLH) listing, the property development arm of Roxas & Co. Inc. said.
Anya Resort & Residences is an up-and-coming luxury development that is scheduled to be completed and opened in early 2016.
Small Luxury Hotels of the World is a group of luxury boutique hotels and resorts from around the globe. It reportedly receives around 1,000 hotel applications yearly but only five percent of applicants meet SLH’s standards and are given membership.
Roxaco Land said that in the Philippines, only three other resorts are members: the Eskaya beach resort and spa in Bohol, Misibis Bay in Albay and Pangulasian Island Resort in El Nido, Palawan.
Roxaco Land President and CEO Santiago Elizalde said being accredited by the SLH group underscored the impeccable service the hotel would soon offer.
“Anya’s core values are in harmony with SLH’s aspirations for thoughtful, detail-oriented accommodations. Quality, rather than quantity, is more important to us. This has guided us in all aspects of planning – from the landscape and building architecture, down to the furniture and the acoustics,” Elizalde said.
Roxaco Land said the development would be complemented by the Ask-Anya-Assistant service.
“Practically much like having your own butler, this specialized concierge allows you to call ahead and have your room arranged to have the preferred kind of linens and toiletries, items that you want stocked up in your refrigerator, or the latest issue of your favorite newspaper or magazine,” it said.
Roxaco Land said Anya unit owners will automatically receive preferred membership status from SLH.
