Tropical storm "Ester" is already out of Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) but still rains are expected over Luzon due to the Southwest Monsoon affecting these area, the state weather bureau said on Thursday.
In the Thursday forecast, PAGASA said that Batanes, Calayan and Babuyan group of Islands, the regions of Ilocos, Cordillera and Central Luzon will experience monsoon rains while Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon will have occasional rains.
