MADRID: Police in Spain and Morocco have arrested six members of a suspected terror cell who were preparing “large-scale attacks,” officials in both countries said Wednesday.

The two forces have “dismantled a jihadist terror cell made up of six individuals, one of whom was arrested in Melilla and five in Morocco,” said a statement from Spain’s interior ministry. Melilla is a tiny Spanish enclave in North Africa.
