DINALUPIHAN, Bataan: The celebration on Monday of the feast of St. John the Baptist in two towns in Bataan was filled with dances and naturally, with plenty of water. Street dancers in Samal town led by reelected Mayor Gene de la Fuente danced with gusto along major streets through the sounds provided by big loudspeakers mounted on vehicles. Other set of dancers followed the Image of St. John, patron saint of barangay San Juan. Some participants doused water on those watching them by the roadsides. In the town of Dinalupihan, participants in revelry asked for more as firemen in two fire trucks trained their hoses on them. Dinalupihan, only landlocked town in Bataan, has been celebrating for years what they call as “Tubig Festival”.
