The management of Star Tollway Corporation (STC), led by its president and chief executive officer, Manuel Bonoan, recently re-launched its “greet and smile” campaign to make every trip of its customers on the 42-kilometer toll road from Santo Tomas to Batangas City more pleasant and enjoyable.

    The campaign coincides with STC’s 14th anniversary celebration and aims to institutionalize “service with a smile,” which includes a retraining of all toll road frontline personnel and introduction of new modules in customer service improvement as well as information about the communities and the motorists that STC serves.

    To remind all STC personnel to provide the best possible service to its customers, specially-designed billboards and announcements along the expressway and on toll plazas will be displayed.

    STC has completed its P2.3-billion road improvement program that includes two additional lanes from Batangas City to Lipa City, asphalt overlay work on all four lanes of the 20-kilometer Santo Tomas-Lipa City stretch, installation of CCTV cameras, additional lighting and the opening of the Lipa-Santo Torribio toll plaza that has helped ease traffic in Lipa City and opened access to the beautiful town of Balete, Batangas.
