Stars lent their support to Sen. Grace Poe at her miting de avance in Quiapo, Manila Saturday.

Among those spotted in the crowd were Superstar Nora Aunor, Lovi Poe, Ogie Alcasid, Carmina Villaruel and Director Carlito Siguion Reyna.

They joined thousands of the senator’s supporters who showed up at the final campaign rally of Partido Galing at Puso at Plaza Miranda.

Neil Llamanzares, Poe’s husband, admitted that the three-month campaign had been gruelling.

“For the chance for Grace to serve so many people, it was all worth it,” Llamanzares said.

Poe’s husband expressed confidence that the senator will emerge victorious on Monday.

“We’re gonna make it. We’re still gonna make it,” he said.

Cebu Rep. Ace Durano said the senator decided to hold her miting de avance in Quiapo “for sentimental reasons.”

Durano, Poe’s campaign manager, said they were able to secure a permit at
Quirino Grandstand in Manila and in Pangasinan but she picked Plaza Miranda which is just beside the Minor Basilica of the Black Nazarene or Quiapo Church.

Durano said Poe wanted to end her campaign in the place were she started it all.

Plaza Miranda was the venue when she ran for senator in 2013. It was also the place where she launched her presidential campaign on February 9.

OK, Grace Llamanzares. You have one more day to tell us why a rank neophyte like you, with absolutely no managerial and executive experience nor even basic supervisory experience, desperately wants to be president and leader of an entire nation. Who do you think you are and what do you take Filipinos for?

    • Who are you to judge? Do you have that qualification to be judgmental? Are you even aware that most successful personalities in today’s world did not have the background, education or even experience when they started. Managerial or executive experience for that matter is not even a guarantee for success. You may have the education or experience but do not know how, where and when to apply in a situation is nothing. You should know better than criticize a person who want to serve her people. Million of people trusted her because they see in her to be a savior who will be there in time of need, treat them equally and government services readily available when they need it.
May the Holy Spirit guide our people to choose the candidate who will for the next 6 years lead the country to unite the Philippines, balance our economy, create more jobs, protect our environment and a nation of healthy, happy and prosperous citizenry.
