Asia’s general English entertainment channel StarWorld gathered celebrities, industry partners, and members of the press to announce its newest programs and initiatives at a grand party on October 11 at Valkyrie Nightclub in Bonifacio Global City.
Premium dramas, comedies and reality shows that the channel is known for has been launched, like the wedding show She Said Yes!, which reveals the magic behind some of the Philippines’ most beautiful ceremonies. The Voice Season 11 is another addition to StarWorld that has had huge audiences tuning in due to the powerhouse duo of new judges—Miley Cyrus and Alicia Keys—that injects the show with a refreshing feminine energy.
The channel has also kept in touch with the digital world by featuring on-air capsules hosted by the country’s top social media influencers, such as Ingrid Chua of The Bag Hag Diaries and Erwan Heussaff in The Fat Kid Inside.
Starworld also launched its newest online lifestyle platform called The Girl On TV, which aims to offer the most entertaining and relevant content to its target audience of strong, adventurous and stylish women all in one home. A program in the offing is Taste Travels featuring Cher Tiu.
FOX Networks Group Philippines director and Marketing and Programming head Charo Espedido said the event served as a celebration of the successes of StarWorld.

Launched in 1997, StarWorld is currently available in 26 million homes across four services in India/Pakistan, Southeast Asia/Greater China, the Philippines and the Middle East.
