Storm “Paeng” is expected to leave the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) by Wednesday morning, according to Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA).
”It will leave the country on Wednesday morning, early Wednesday morning,” PAGASA weather forecaster Leni Ruiz told Philippines News Agency.
Paeng is expected to be 925 kilometers east of Daet, Camarines Norte, on Sunday morning, and 1,030 km east of Tuguegarao City by Monday.
The storm will not make landfall, but it will enhance the northeasterly winds on the eastern coast of Central and Southern Luzon and the Visayas, which will result in rough to very rough seas.
Ruiz said that no other weather systems are seen in the next few days.
