Tropical Storm “Urduja” (international name: “Kai-tak”) continues to threaten Eastern Visayas, particularly the Samar provinces, according to the Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa).

Residents in the affected areas were advised to brace for flooding and landslides as Urduja was expected to make landfall on Eastern Samar by Saturday and stay in the Philippine Area of Responsibility for five more days.
