Seda BGC’s Straight Up roof deck bar is on its final night of serving visiting Chef Giovan Giuseppe Ferrandino’s Italian aperitivi or pre-dinner cocktails, with a buffet of antipasti and other delicious appetizers.
Chef Giovan who hails from Genova, Italy has worked also in Germany, France, Monaco and Switzerland.
“Seda is the first hotel to introduce the aperitivi concept in the Philippines and we are proud that Chef Giovan, who has worked in various Michelin-starred restaurants in Europe, is helping us present the event,” enthused the hotel’s Italian group general manager Andrea Mastellone.
Chef Giovan is assisted by Filipino-Italian Chef Anna Finato Galzignato in close coordination with the
hotel’s executive Chef Romualdo “Pepe” Castillo, in laying out some 40 appetizers including mozzarella, crostinis, pizzas, pastas and open-faced quiche, paired with an array of Italian wines.
After Manila, Chef Giovan will also bring his aperitivi offerings to Seda Abreeza, Davao City, Seda Centio, Cagayan de Oro City, and finally Seda Nuvali in Mid-May 20 this year.
