Motor Image Pilipinas Inc., the exclusive distributor of Subaru in the Philippines is holding the Tanabata Festival in all of its dealerships across the country until July 19, 2015.

The Tanabata Festival or “Meeting of the Seventh” is a Japanese star festival, originating from the Chinese Qixi Festival. It celebrates the meeting of the deities Orihime and Hikoboshi (represented by the stars Vega and Altair respectively). According to the legend, the Milkyway separates these lovers, and they are allowed to meet only once a year on the seventh day of the seventh lunar month of the lunisolar calendar.

Just like the meeting of the stars that happens only once a year, customers who will book a reservation on the week of the Tanabata Festival will a receive gift from any Subaru showroom. Furthermore, customers may expect special financing schemes such as 0% interest rate, exclusively for the week-long event. Customers may feel the Japanese festive mood as several showrooms will be decorated.

Wish upon the stars, and it will come true at Subaru’s Tanabata Festival. This is the rare chance for customers to find and own the perfect Subaru they have been dreaming about. Interested customers may visit the Greenhills, Global City, Manila Bay, Alabang, Sta. Rosa, Batangas, Cebu, Davao and Cagayan de Oro showrooms.
