The search is on for 10 finalists to represent the country in the Subaru Palm Challenge 2015 in Singapore and get a chance to win a brand-new Subaru Forester 2.0i-L.
The Philippine Face-Off will be held in Cebu, Davao and in Metro Manila to determine the Philippine representatives.
Deriving from an endurance contest that started in Singapore, Subaru Palm challengers are to place their palm on a specific area of the car and the last person standing will win the competition. Last year’s winner at the Subaru Challenge in Singapore recorded the longest time of 82 hours and 16 minutes, surpassing the other 400 participants from Thailand, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Philippines, China, Taiwan, Indonesia, Vietnam, Cambodia and Singapore.
The challenge in Cebu is slated on August 8, at the Ayala Center Cebu. On August 15, the Davao face off will take place at the SM Lanang Premiere. The Manila face off will take place on September 5 at the Big Bear Oval, Bonifacio High Street in Taguig City.
Participants should be 18 years or older to join, must possess a valid Philippine passport and is in good health.
Several challenges await the contestants who are ready to put their heart, mind and body to the test for the elimination legs. One winner each from Cebu and Davao will join the eight other winners from Manila to complete the set of Philippine representatives. These winners will receive an all-expense paid trip to Singapore and compete with representatives from nine other Asian countries to battle it out for the grand prize of a brand new Subaru Forester
Contestants competing in Singapore also have the chance to win cash prizes for being the Country Winner (awarded to the last person standing from each country), Asian Winner (the last person standing from all regional countries except Singapore), and a Country Team prize for the longest surviving country (calculated by adding all the individual team members’ times together).
To register, interested participants may visit any of the Subaru showrooms in Greenhills, Global City, Manila Bay, Alabang, Cebu and Davao or log on to www.motorimage.net/PH for online registration.
