SENATOR Ferdinand Marcos Jr. on Wednesday asked Malacañang to submit a list of legislative priorities aimed at eradicating poverty and expand social services so that Congress can act on them immediately to reduce the number of hungry families in the country.

Marcos, a member of the Senate committee on agriculture and food, noted that while recent surveys showed a decrease in the number of families experiencing involuntary hunger this year, the government must come up with more effective means to address the hunger problem.
