Sun Business launched as solutions provider for enterprises

IN a bid to promote operational efficiency among enterprises, one of the leading telecommunication companies on Thursday was launched as a key corporate solutions provider.

Sun Business, the corporate solutions arm of Sun Cellular will promote operational efficiency among businesses through its enhanced line of third generation (3G)-based solutions.

Tina Mariano, concurrent group head for Sun Business and Smart Global Access said that among the intensified line of the company’s solutions is the Message Cast.

“Taking on our role as a provider of enabling technologies, we continue to innovate and build our best-value solutions to address the changing needs of enterprises through a highly competitive and technological business environment,” she said.

Message Cast is an Internet-based text broadcast service which allows businesses to relay messages to a pool of external and internal contacts in just a single send.

“Our clients would use the Message Cast Solution to send their products updates and promo announcements to their customers, and even for their internal communications to their own employees and staff,” said Mariano.

She explained that Message Cast can operate seamlessly over-the-air through an active Internet connection, adding that “our clients are spared from the need for additional space and equipment and from the grueling task of manually sending texts to multiple recipients.”

Sun Business has also intensified its series of M2M Data Plans which enable wireless communication and data transfer between systems and devices.

“This 3G-based solution is ideal for retail business which employ point-of-sale device in their operations,” Mariano said.

Through the development of these best-value innovations, Mariano said that Sun Business has been actively synergizing with the sister companies of Sun Cellular in the PLDT Group, in terms of building a robust network support and reaching out to a pool of variable clientele.
